Patched Reality's Manifolder allows you to explore spatial fabrics from the celestial level, through the terrestrial level, and all the way down to the physical level. Here are a list of features you might want to consider implementing.
The topmost portion of a metaverse map is the celestial layer, which encodes all sorts of things you'd find in space. It encompasses everything from the root Universe element down to the lowest Surface element. Displaying such a vast range of objects measuring from 1.0e+24 to 1.0e+3 meters poses several problems in terms of scale. Plus, space is really cool, so it warrants a bit of panache.
There are several existing systems that render and navigate space quite nicely. Unfortunately, Manifolder is not (yet) one of them. Perhaps you can fix this. Here are a few resources that might give you a few ideas to work from:
